So I have been thinking of making a small application that would be basically a web browser that would go to a website using a web proxy that i made using appspot.com from google and using a tutorial so that people here in Mexico could surf the web from the cellphones for free lol the proxy works and all, the problem is the programming, see, I take C# at school, and apparently its possible it'll be the only language I'll learn at school at all (they used to teach java too but the teacher that thought that die and they changed some things around and no more java, at least for now).
I got a book about java, i was reading it and stuff, learn some stuff, pretty basic, but its not orientated or doesn't cover anything about java ME, so then i tried watching tutorials, then i started to look around on how to add a web browser component on it like on C# and found nothing, in fact, people told me that i couldn't be able to do it because there was nothing on java that would let me make a web browser or something, anyways, i started to look for an alternative using c# found something called net60, found some links but they were all dead, and i get the feeling that its more orientated towards c++
so basically i need advice, or just someone to answer me this, is there a way to make an application for symbian phones in C#??? and if there is, do you think it'd be possible to make a web browser in it? i'm still in 3rd semester in college so i still haven't got much experience yet, but i am eager to learn about mobile applications because i can tell that this might be useful in the future.
anyways, thank you very much, i tried searching but i guess i might of used the wrong keywords and found nothing lol
Please, I need help trying to build an application for Symbian phones using C#

Portal:Programming Languages - Forum Nokia Wiki
The default language appears to be C++, but they do list C# as an option.

yeah, thats the thing, i go there and it gives me this:
I try to go to the link of Net60, and it leads me nowhere, I think that the site is down, but its been down for weeks already as far as i Know, or maybe I been blocked from it because I live in Mexico, which i doubt, and then I tried downloading something from a thirdparty website that claimed it was Net60, and maybe its because I have Visual Express installed only, anyways, I wasn't able to run it. Am I doing something wrong here? lol
Thanks for the reply by the way!

Create S60 applications with C# and Visual Basic
Net60, from Red Five Labs, is the de facto .NET framework for S60. Net60 enables mobile applications built with the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 for Windows Mobile to run on Symbian S60 3rd and 5th edition devices.
Red Five Labs has implemented the Common Language Infrastructure (commonly referred to as .NET) on the Symbian platform. The .NET runtime is analogous to the Java Virtual Machine. Instead of writing native Symbian C++ code for the underlying Symbian operating system, .NET developers write managed C# or Visual Basic code targeting this managed execution environment which is common to Symbian and Windows Mobile.
