Curious about the following js/css video

So I've been in the market for online backup recently and, randomly, happened to watch a cool demonstration of iDrive software here --> [link removed]

Since I'm interested in learning how to eventually write interactive code like that, I was wondering if anyone here knew what languages were used to build that demo in the link? Doing a quick page source in Firefox shows it's a combination of javascript and css, but if I'm a newb and I'm trying to eventually write a demo like this because I want to train people with video demos where I can basically show my desktop perpetually on a web site (without having them have to connect via a webinar), would the best place to start learning how to do an embedded video like that be with js and css?

At a guess, Camtasia was used to record it, and it was published as a Flash video.

If I get you right, you can set up a video recording software to save to a file, and have a Flash application stream the video to the client from a dedicated server. This may be a solution, had never tried anything like this though:
