Brief description of the situation: I'm a 21 years old italian boy and I need to make a gift to an american friend, who's 83 now. He's a long time friend of my grandparents and 3 years ago he hosted me in his house for 2 weeks. Since then, I always send a gift to him for christmas.

What do you think I could send him this year? The last couple of years I mailed him a calendar with pictures of Rome and a book with italian landscapes.
