Hey guys, I am a newbie and I use linux(Ubuntu spesifically):pinguin:
I have been learning python so far but I would like to change my path and focus on two languages....
The one is for web development and the other is for programs.....
Can you help me out to find what language to pick?

Since you already know Python I would suggest you keep Python as your web language (ofcourse you need some modules to work). As for other language, depends really what you want. Java for example is slower than C/C++ but can work on any machine that has Java Virtual Machine. C/C++ are fast and there are some cross platform librarys but may require some tweaking to do for each platform. If you plan to develop for Windows OS only then I'd suggest Visual Studio and VC++/C#.
A conclusion is where you got tired of thinking.
#define class struct // All is public.

Django is a framework for web applications (and a nice powerful one at that), think of how ASP is with its framework. You can always just install the official the mod_python Apache module though to work with Python online, it is more simple than ASP and most likely much of PHP.
Be sure to read the updated FAQ! || Health is achieved through the same 10,000 steps.
If a suggested code/method fails, informing us is less important than telling us why or what errors occurred.

1.Sorry but I didn't understood much
2.In Django I have been using it or a while but I had to set networks and many stuff to run it, can it be on a site or on an html file?
3. Is Ruby as good as Python adn why yes(or not)?
