hi all
im new to joomla
im trying to update a site that includes a main menu and inside a collection menu.(module)
on the collection menu i have 6 items.
i have updated 3 of them but it keeps lead me to the home page,
i have selected for example item 2006 and linked article 2006 but it leads me to the home page.
im probably missing something...
i tried to copy from the menu item manager one of the items, and select the article that i want
but still it leads me to the home page.

this is the link:
Talia Designer Clothes Collections

i know that the 3 articles are ok, i tried to link the collection button directly to them and they are working- they are galleries.
please help
thanks:)

Hi Lola,

Without looking from admin panel I can not be sure, but it looks like the trouble is with your SEO module/component. Try to turn it off first and test the menus again. If they work, then it's definitely your SEO problem. Btw, what version is your joomla?

I suggested to turn off the SEO not only because there is possibility of bugs related with it, but also by turning it off we can see the real parameters used when we clicked the menus. So when you turn the seo off, what address(se) did u see when you hover mouse over the menus and what did you get after you click on them?

Or perhaps you can turn it off from now on so I can inspect myself.

[Added]
By joomla version, please also include the build number (the number after second period), like: 1.5.22 (the latest version of Joomla 1.5)

Sorry for double post, but I did not check your website before. I just visited your site again, and now looks like the submenus do not bring you to to the homepage again. They now are pointing to correct article/page. But I notice that the layout of the pages were not quite "right".

Anyhow, I think we can conclude that it's your seo feature that caused the problem. If your site is in linux server, the built-in seo option works better if you use .htaccess (rename the one came with joomla), enable option apache mod_rewrite, and add some entries. See my free windows utilities site for an example of built-in seo joomla configured properly.
