I'm new to this site so I don't if I posting this in the right place. Long story short I redownloaded one of my old games, but it's missing files. Specifically a .bin file where the save data goes. When I first downloaded the game I had no problems, one day all of game save files where randomly deleted and I have been able to play because when I try to save It shuts off. I've redownloaded it but I'm getting the same problem, the game is somewhat outdated so theres only one torrent for it thats being seeded, the one that doesn't work for me.

I wanna know if I can create my own .bin file to save with. Would that work?

You may be able to create an empty .bin file (renamed text file with no contents) and get away with it, if that does not work then the bin file most likely contains a compress index of some sort in their specified format, it would be nearly impossible to replicate without the original sources or an example bin file to look at .
