Hi i have recently started learning python, (started with python3, tried c++, went back to learning python but switched to python2), Yes, i admit i am a confused mess.

I am wanting to study for an extended diploma(level 3) next year which will cover the following subjects:

You will study 12 subjects to get your Diploma, from:

Software Design and Development.
Computer Systems.
Communication and Employability Skills for IT.
Information Systems.
Website Production and Management.
Spreadsheet Modelling.
Client Side Customisation of Web Pages.
Procedural Programming.
Computer Systems Architecture.
Web Server Scripting.
Communication Technologies.
Event Driven Programming.
Computer Animation.
Project Planning with IT.
Database Design.
Digital Graphics.
Computer Animation.
Computer Games Platforms and Technologies.
2D Animation Production.
Interactive Media Authoring.
3D Modelling.
Web Animation for Interactive Media.
You will also develop your functional skills.

(Copy and pasted from their website)

They aren't giving out any information of the course till closer to the date, What do you reckon will be the foundation language they will start off with?

C?
Python?
C++?
Idk, im just asking here because someone may have done a similar course and may know some information, or at least what's the most likely one.

And have i to stop learning myself python and move on to that language so i have an advantage of a year in front?

Hmm :/

Any replies/help would be much appreciated.

That looks suspiciously like .NET or Java, with VERY superficial coverage of each topic mentioned.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

That would probably work well.

Start with any language, practice a lot and have fun! The language you wrote your apps is the less important part of your project, mostly if it is an online course where you will not code specific, platform dependant code, and will not need any specific package.
