Hello everyone!
My name is Dany, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I am a complete and utter beginner to programming- I know only the vary basics of a few languages, nothing more. I am here to do several things:
1) Meet like-minded beginners and work with them to improve our skills.
2) Discuss best ways to grow my skills and make plans to improve.
3) Prepare for a computer science major.
4) Find ways to make my dreams a reality.
Very high and lofty goals indeed, I understand. But I am a hard working high schooler with time on his hands (and a gleam in his eyes). So, without any further ado, let's learn!
... Hey, even Gates started out somewhere.

Welcome aboard Dany, what sort of languages were you looking at to learn?

Hello Nullw0rm!
I already know C++, Java, and Python, but only the very basics of each one. I hope to find out how to proceed from here on. There is a lot more to Computer Science than languages, and more to programming than just entering code. I hope to unravel those mysteries one by one. I'll post more info on my goals at a later time in more detail (books I've read, projects I hope to do, my aspirations, etc).
Thanks for the welcome!
