I have a reseller over at hostnine and im a newb and all but why on earth, using filezilla at least, on certain accounts i can see the htaccess file and on others i simply cannot? man i knew programming was slow and buggy but this is supernatural. I just checked about 5 sites and i could see the .htaccess on two but not on the other three, without my having done anything specific to these sites that i could remember.
They're all on wordpress 3.01
I was about to install a network feature on one of them but now i cant see the .htaccess file there to back up...
plz can someone explain this to me?

Are you sure Filezilla is set to view hidden files? Try Server -> Force showing hidden files in menu.

Also remember that not all sites use .htaccess :) I mean it's nice and good to have it (if your webserver is apache), but not mandatory.
