Hi,
I think school level is enough to start :) IMHO there are two key points:
1. work hard,
2. like you work.

Its because "Vla" I live in South Africa, where the education system lets you choose between Mathematics and Mathematics Litracy. Where in Mathematics Litracy you just do minor calculations, not geometry, algebra, solving for X etc like in Mathematics.
So whats your opinion on that. May I ask what is your level in programming.

Mathematics literacy is all you will need for most day-to-day or contract programming, but if you are wanting to work with mathematical algorithms, time complexities and more difficult work for example with graphics then learning algebra and geometry is a must. It depends on what you wish to do in programming (or what you wish to use it for in your career), I would personally do Mathematics for the learning experience.

You have to chose Mathematics without any doubts. I don't know how to determine "programming level". I assume my level is intermediate.
