I'm new here, so please excuse me if I get things a wee bitty wrong.
I do not have a heck of a load of programming experience, just what I learnt in uni. Anyway, in-terms of programming, I hated it in uni, just couldn't get my head round it but now I wanna have a second go at it as I feel I can focus on it more. And also I can relate to it (will explain later).
Right so there are two purposes to my post today. One, I want to ask where to start with programming? I do have vb experience but to be honest I have forgotten most of it now. Secondly, I have a back office software running in my business (travel and tourism), I would like to know how it is working, how can I check the code and understand it? In particular I would like to know how and where the system gets it's information form (the info i reffer to is collected from an external server). Also I would like to know how the back office software is connected to from different systems in my organisation? Thank you in advance
