I just re-installed my operating system and now I am missing a lot of drivers. I think on of them is my graphics card driver. My first hint was that windows were taking a rely long time to render. Know one of my games isn't working. I thought that this version of windows' graphics driver must be out of date so I started searching for it. I've tried Device Manager, DirectX Diagnostics, and going to desktop/properties/display but I can't find anything about the graphics card or its driver. Anyone know what's going on?

Have you run your Windows Updates? 95% of the time Windows updates will have some kind of driver for your card. If that fails, you need to go to the OEM site and download the driver from there.

I will try the updates but, like I said, I have no way of knowing what card I have. (without taking it apart again)

Ok, the updates didn't do the trick. I need to know what kind of card it is. How can I do this?

If you go to your computer manufactures website, type in the serial number/service tag located on a sticker (somewhere on your computer) they will provide drivers specific to your computer/operating system. At least Dell, HP, Gateway, Toshiba, Asus, and Lenovo do.
