That looks like a run of the mill netbook, the prices in foreign countries are usually higher but that is fair. The only things I would warn you on is the memory and screen size, it may be slow compiling larger programs or running too much over the (basic) version of Windows, and with the screen sometimes you may require a larger font setting, I am not too sure I would do one hundred percent of my dev work on a netbook.

I personally like Dell laptops.. I just got a new XPS 15. Take a look at their Inspiron line and see if you can price something out that's better than what you're getting.

I'm looking for a laptop too, and I wanna get myself a Dell Mini 10v for coding. It's just I heard it has a crap keyboard, is this true?

General comments: a 10.1 inch screen can feel cramped when dealing with coding. For writing/surfing the web, it's nice, but for coding, I like having as much screen as possible. $50 for a few more inches is often a wise investment. Also, Windows 7 starter only lets you run 3 programs, which can be very inconvenient if you need a browser to test PHP code, an editor to modify it, XAMPP control panel open, and want to open ANYTHING else (say a drawing program for a button).

What do you mean only lets you run 3 programs? You mean only 3 tasks at the same time? O.o

I haven't had problems with my other Dell laptop, but I've never used a netbook (Mini).

Yeah! I think 1GB is enough. In my PC I have 1.6GHz Atom Processor and 1GB. It is not much. But for me it's everything. I am concerning about screen size. Do you think 10.1" is not enough?

No it's not good and not worth the spec is too low. For example the Processor of 1.66 GHz is too low. You can find a better laptop for your budget try Ebay.

Yeah! There is Inspiron Mini 10 (1018) Netbook and Inspiron Mini 10 (1012) Netbook prices are 299.99 and 499.99 respectively. But only this different is resolution. For me I think first one(1018) is good.
