I have a fully functional netbook, but no case. I accidentally dropped it and cracked it wide open. The thing works. The RAM is stil in. The HD has no damage or anything. The entire unit as a whole works, The casing around the bottom and keyboard is just cracked open and no longer fits on the laptop. Are there any projects I could do to make all these parts look awesome, which still allows me to use my computer?

Nice, but I was looking for more mods. I've already ruined the warrenty, but installing Ubuntu, which is kind of silly if you ask me, but anyway.

Well I'm sure searching with google you can find many mods..maybe buy a micro case and put the motherboard and stuff inside of it...

I would recommend just buying a new case, but since you're looking for mods... Maybe this iMac-like case will do the job? Instructables is a great site, search it I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for.

I've seen people do many very cool things with old Netbooks. If your good with your hands you can build a custom picture frame to fit everything inside and use it as a digital photo frame. When I was in highschool my friends and I put an old P3 desktop into a VCR. Look around your house for old stuff and then tear it apart, and see if you can fit your netbook innards into it. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out!

Also, let me add that a touch screen would be a very nice addition. Consider getting one.
