Tutorial on how to make glow text. :)

[End Result]
Posted Image

1) First Open Photoshop and click File>New and call it whatever you want.

2) Now fill the background with black by hitting ctrl+backspace (If its a different color change your color background in the bottom left corner)

3) Now add some text. Do not use a text that is very bold. I'm using "BIRTH OF A HERO". (Search it up on dafont.com).

4) Double click your text layer and click and check "Outer Glow". Now, I set Spread = 6, Size = 7. Not close that up

5. Create a new layer (ctrl+shift+n) and now select your paint tool.

6. Now select "neonish" colors or anything you want. Now just paint over the text with a size = 100 brush. You can do 1 color, or a lot. This is where you can get creative with colors.

7) Now in the "Layer" section there should be a drop menu that says "Normal" on it. Click that and change it to "Color".

Good work, may you provide an example end result of the image in your post? Those are always useful to see if they did the tutorial right.
Be sure to read the updated FAQ! || Health is achieved through the same 10,000 steps.
If a suggested code/method fails, informing us is less important than telling us why or what errors occurred.

There are a lot of tutorials on youtube also. I've found several videos and they're very useful.
