I have an organization and would like to share file between it. I considered Freenet, but didn't want to have access to all the child pornography. I even considered a closed freenet, but was told if one person opened their node up to the rest of the world, the rest of the network would be open to it too. Plus the files are confidential, so the entire Freenet would have access to them if it were to accidently get opened on a single computer and then they would permanently be available for everyone else on Freenet. I want it decentralized so I can use it on a LAN or the Internet itself. I thought about IP2 and WASTE, but I don't know if they're decentralized or not. Can anyone help me?

These files are too small for BT. They're documents. I'm wanting something in the way of Alliance so I can search through them. Alliance seems to be having a port problem right now though. I've called my ISP and the ports are open. I've turned my firewall completely off (Computer, Wireless router, ATT modem) and it still won't work. I'm guessing it's either because I have linux or because of it's wacky port usage. Anyway if someone can find an alternative to Alliance that runs on Linux, I would sure appriciate it. Thanks
