i was just wondering, is my avatar copyrighted and if so will i get in trouble for using it?

No it is not illegal, if logos were illegal to be reproduced in fair-use scenario such as this wikipedia would be a couple million pictures out.
Be sure to read the updated FAQ! || Health is achieved through the same 10,000 steps.
If a suggested code/method fails, informing us is less important than telling us why or what errors occurred.

Nice avatar. I think it would be great for an actual logo. I really like that arrow and the frame.
