i'm hoping some one can help me out or at least give me some advice. I'm working on disabling cut, copy, paste hotkeys, such as ctrl+c, ctrl+x, ctrl+v. I attempted to edit the registry by creating a policy in the registry but i dont know if its worded correctly or if its in the correct place or if a batch file to run in the startup file would be more efficient.

Here is the code that i placed in the registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies
- NoCtrl&c REG_Dword 0x00000001 (1)

will this work or should i go a different direction

These program claim to disable hotkeys, you could try them.

Disable Copy Paste, Cut, Move, Delete, Rename, Move To, Send To, Copy To, and Task Manager In Windows. | TECH YARD
Disable the Cut, Copy, Paste and Delete Operations in Windows 7, Vista, XP

There are also rules you can establish in the Local Group Policy Editor, but I'm not sure where in there they would be :)

Some can be found in User Configuration/All Settings (Allow cut, copy or paste operations from the clipboard; Allow drag and drop or copy and paste files; there may be more).
