That is a very broad question. For example, if you only accept paypal, then you don't need credit card processing. Ultimately, you need a product to sell, and a website to sell it through.

Like at most of software registration service that I know, you maybe need to get SSL Server Certificate to secure your E-commerce website and Advanced Fraud Protection to protect from fraudulent transactions.

Certainly, you also must give the best customer service to your customer.
