hi i am a college student i am in my last year of college and im doing an internship on a professors company.

he assigned me to do Database using Visual basic and sql.
i know something about Visual Basic but i have never ever in my life touched SQL.

what i need to do is a form that tells the user to put the name, age, sex, telephone and all that information of the student. and return it to an SQL sheet.

i have bought books of both SQL and VB. to refresh my memory. while i read this i would like to post the question here.

i am using VB2010 and SQL Server express 2008

1) i am clue-less on how to combine the Visual basic with sql.
2)i dont know how to tell Visual Basic to record on sql.
3)i dont know how to do a sheet on sql.

anyone ?

I would start by looking at the SQL tutorial on w3schools.com.
