Which do you find more important? I can't really decide; without knowledge, skill is limited, but without skill, knowledge has no application. This question is supposed to pertain mostly to computer programming, administration, etc. though it could apply to other areas of life as well.
Which is more important? Knowledge or skill?

I think skill because if you don't have knowledge, you don't have skill. However, if you do have knowledge, it doesn't mean you are skillful. You know what I mean? It's just from my perspective.

knowledge can be gained over time. unlike skill, skill can be upgraded but cannot be created from scratch IMO

Skill is the accumulation of knowledge. It's practical knowledge.

Ok, I was bad at saying but i was saying like amrosama.
and WingedPanther, you voted for skill? Skill is practical knowledge so Skill includes knowledge. Presence of skill is presence of knowledge in my opinion.

Quote
Knowledge is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as (i) expertise, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject; (ii) what is known in a particular field or in total; facts and information; or (iii) awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation.

A skill is the learned capacity to carry out pre-determined results often with the minimum outlay of time, energy, or both.
You can't ride a bike with no skill and you can't ride a bike with no knowledge about how to ride a bike either. IMO this is a pretty pointless debate...

I feel both are important, if we have skill and don't know how to use it then we can't get success.
