Hello,
I have been searching the net for a while now and I can't seem to find a user based database. I have no idea if it's called that, so I will explain further what I need.
1. I want a database on my computer, NOT connected to the Internet.
2. I want to be able to add Information into that database, images etc.
(Example is: I want to be able to add John Doe, with all his personal Information and picture. The search can be personal number, a specific code I give it when I put John Doe into the database, date of birth, anything I add into it so I can reach that specific person.
3. I want this database to have a userfriendly Interface, I want it to be secure, meaning you need to login with a username and password to be able to access the Information stored on it.
Is there anything out there like this? I prefer it to be free, but paying is an option as well.
Thank you for your time, I will stay active on this thread so keep the answers coming.

You is not need database. If you need database to view in side Microsoft Access or OpenOffice Database.
For you task, you can searche google: "telephone book program"
Example: Download Phone Book Software - Computer Phone Book

A database can be for a single user, like SQLite, on the local machine, like some cases of Firebird or MySQL, or on a network, as most often are.
A database NORMALLY just stores data. You are responsible for creating a separate program that works with placing data in it, updating that data, displaying that data, or removing it.
There are a few things out there, like FoxPro, Access, or OpenOffice Base, that integerate the database and the environment around it. Generally, these are not as secure, and definitely require programming knowledge to create a user-friendly interface to the underlying data.

SQLite isn't what I was looking for either. Seems like I have to know and put in commands in what looks like CMD. Someone has to know about a program that can do and look how I need it to be?

You're asking for something commercial then. Microsoft Office Access 2007 allows passwording of access databases, so you can do that or search for a commercial application fitting the "lock and key database for info" scenario.
