Hi there,

I've made the popular Xbox 360 Indie game and iPhone app, The Impossible Game. I've got a strange idea that I was wondering if someone would do for me for a fee, involving new levels for the game.

Basically for the level placements in The Impossible Game I specify a pixel coordinate for each object. For example the distance between two blocks (see image) on the same level is always 190 pixels on iPhone. However on Xbox 360 it is a different number of pixels as the engines are slightly different due to the resolution.

I've already done the level placements for new levels on iPhone. I was thinking that instead of manually coding in every object for the Xbox 360's new levels, I could use a program that looked at the distance between each object and changed them.

It's simple, but quite complicated to explain, let me give you an example. To jump on two blocks next to each other, the distance between them has to be 190 pixels on iPhone. On Xbox 360 it is 150 pixels. So if I gave the program three numbers of difference 190:
500, 690, 880
the program would then give me three numbers of difference 150:
500, 650, 800
I could then use the new three numbers for the Xbox level.

Obviously it is more complicated, as blocks can be above or below each other, but I think it could save me a lot of time. Unfortunately I don't really know how I could program something like this so I was wondering if someone would do it for me?

Email me at info@flukedude.com, and we can discuss this further and I can clarify anything you're confused about. On completion of a working program I can pay you over Paypal an agreed amount.

Thanks,
-Ed
