Hi I have a interview + test coming up for a embedded software engineer job.

here are some clues / hints as to what might be in it -

Test-
- develop algorithms
- use your knowledge of logic
- mathematics
- problem solving
- computer engineering (NOR statements, equations)

interview
- principles of electronics fundamentals.

I think im pretty good with algorithms - im guessing they will be looking for best algorithms in psuedo code for common problems.

I am good with maths aswell, but im not sure what exactly are they going to ask in logic/ computer engineering, since I have been out of uni for a couple or more years and im starting to scratch my head...

and even though i have a base in electronics, but still it would be good to know what i can revise before the interview...

so please let me know any hints tips clues ideas suggestions you have..

Thankyou

mathematics could be all over the place, including numerical methods, numerical analysis, number theory, combinatorics, calculus, etc, etc, etc.

Not to be unkind, but that list doesn't give a solid sense of what to expect from a preparation perspective.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

I have only one tip for you mate (because I have never been in an interview), just never lose confidence and do the best you can!

Good luck!
