Sir i am a begner and doing electronics engineering In my final year project i am maiking a unmanned ground vehicle .In this project i want that robot to track the person automaticaly using object tracking and chase him.Sir i dnt knw from where i should start .kindly give main some guidline from where i should start .plz give me some material or home work so that i can show my effort.

It's too complicated to write your own optical recognition algorithms if you have no previous experience. You should use OpenCV - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for your robot's sight.
