I fail to remember the last question about XML that wasn't appropriately related to the ASP/PHP forum (as XML is generally not handled on its own).

then why for Ajax.! there is already a section for Ajax
and Ajax doesn't even handle it's own.
you see ,you people can only make useless arguments and develop it based on that core.

Do you have a lot of questions/comments about XML files themselves, or about doing something with XML?
AJAX is a technology that relies heavily on the interaction between JavaScript and HTML, but introduces some techniques that can be more tricky than either one alone. Could it be covered by JS/HTML? Sure. Should it be? Dunno.
As a general rule, we try to keep things nice and organized. It doesn't always work, and there's always room for improvements. What kinds of discussions do you envision in a forum devoted to a file format?

well it's upto you ,cause this is not my forum.! and I don't have many questions, rarely I have or I don't want to force anyone to add this or that.
I said think from your side ,it's not benefit to me.
add an XML section or not but as described in main page.
it says the largest online programming forum. lol but missing XML.!
I can't understand why people can't change what they believe even in suitable context.
I may not have XML questions but other people may have.that's why there is a large space for XML even in w3schools.
adding an extra section won't ruin the forum or it won't take money just few clicks here you go.!
I guess you underestimate XML.
consider with Ajax ,XML uses heavily than Ajax cause you can even use XML with normal software programming NOT only with Web Programming.
you can use XML with C++,Java,VB.NET, etc.. or in Mobile Phones or anywhere ,where you can use HTML.

We just haven't had many questions on it. When we get enough questions in the general section, we tend to make a subforum.

@UbuntuX: Like WP, I would recommend that questions for XML be in a general section until we see a strong demand for a sub-forum.
Do you have specific questions about XML that you would like to post? I encourage you to post them on the general forum first.
