Hello everyone.
I have a Linux Gentoo server at work and I want to backup Windows computers to it.
I have been looking at BackupPc as a solution, but I have run into some problems.
I already have apache installed and have a website running (only for inside the network). What I actually wanted to know is if anybody has ever used BackupPC and would they mind sharing their knowledge with me? I am pretty much a newcommer when it comes to linux.
Also, if you have any other suggestions, I really would like to hear them...
Thank you for your time.

You could install a Samba Server on the Gentoo server. In that case it will be recognized as a Windows system in the network. For instance, if your Gentoo has the IP address 192.168.1.10 and you share a folder "backup", you can then mount it as a network volume in Windows using the address \\192.168.1.10\backup
