Have you heard of I-Dosing and has anyone tried it. At first I thought it was ridiculous though upon looking into how it works it seems to hold some truth.

I don't know if you have heard of binaural beats though, it is a tone between 1000 - 1500 hertz. Well it is actually two tones, one played in each ear. The difference between each tone is between 1 and 40 hz. Different ranges in the modulation between the two tones can cause different effects on the brain by inducing different neural waves. This can give you the effect of being high in a sense apparently.

There are several mp3 files on you tube for i-dosing. They sound like weird techno though apparently the beats and techno sound is not registered the same way as the tones and does not alter the effect. It works because your brain is trying to locate the origin of the sound in three dimensional space though it is not a single sound sound it your mind cannot locate it.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else has any info on it or experience with it?

I have! Seriously I tried that God one, the one that is meant to be the most powerful and the marijuana one and it doesn't do **** for me, I was sitting there like twiddling my thumbs the whole time. I've heard of some people saying it does work though, people usually say it works for some, doesn't work for others.

Maybe try one that induces a different brain wave pattern or look for something that is nothing but the two solid tones. Also do it in a situation that isolates your hearing as your only sense. I'm still studying it and formulating an opinion on it. I tried it tonight and felt very mellow though I was unable to tell if that was simply a plusebo or because the song was mellow or if that was an intended effect. I hope to find out though.

I followed the instructions with precision - was in a dead-silent room, closed my eyes, I tried about 10 or so of them and they had no effect what so ever on me. I sort of wish they worked though, I wanted a LEGAL out-of-body experience, haha.

You guys should probably try Gnaural, a binaural beats generator. Put headphones on, turn the volume up, and relax for about in hour.

I've been looking into that. I'm not looking for a high though, I'm thinking, what if you played this to a child, or a tone that induces alpha wave increasing his brain activity. I don't know if their is much science behind playing Mozart to a kid but this sounds more plausible.
