It's nice to meet you.

I've been programming for around 3 and a half years at the time of this writing. I have a little experience in many languages, but most of my programming experience is in functional programming. I am a very active member of the Clojure community.

My first love and one of the first languages I worked with was Haskell. I don't use it as much as I should anymore, but I can still be helpful on good (and medium well done) days.

I am a real language person. I love learning about languages, and learning about the flaws in existing languages and how other languages work to alleviate those flaws. I love new languages, and when a new language is created, I'm one of the first to find out about it. ;)

I'm going to hang around here for a while, and see if my particular skill set will be helpful to the site. I hope to bring a new perspective to codecall, and help to expose the members here to functional programming and new and exciting languages.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard! I'm looking into ANSI Common Lisp right now, but was thinking about getting into Clojure.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.
