I have an Android (Samsung Behold II) right now.. Never owned an iPhone before.. but I've heard that anyone who's gone to iPhone would never leave it...
As for my Behold II phone, I think it's only alright. Kind of slow compared to my previous Blackberry's (Pearl, Curve, Pearl Flip). I also miss not having a keyboard (Samsung's T9 is not very intelligent in my experience.) I also heard that the Behold II is not eligible for an Android OS upgrade pass 1.6 (or something), which totally sucks. I do like how it's easy for app developers to develop Android apps...and have many ideas scribbled down in my notebook for future projects.

Roger your right.
I used to be on everything but iPhone, but the day I went to iPhone 4, I never looked back.
Best phone right now is the iPhone.

So what are the programming capabilities of iPhones and iPads? Are they similar to those of Mac OS X? Someone told me you can use all of the same languages on the iPad as on Mac, including Python, Perl, Ruby, and the like, as long as you jailbreak it. I imagine it would be a lot harder on an iPhone, unless there's a way you can attach a keyboard to it. I've never owned an iPhone or iPad, so I don't know. I only touched an iPhone once when it was on the desk of this person I was doing a career interview with.
