Forum:
Blog:
Everything else looks very good. :)
Deeptechtons is down due to theme update atm.
- Isn't it annoying to have all times in UTC +5:30? :)
- "sharing with joy" on the logo is hard to read for me.
Blog:
- The feed and twitter button are hidden well behind the menu bar. Perhaps too well? :) (Clicking it and press back in the browser, causes it to stay on top, but that's not really your fault i think.)
- To the right you got 5 buttons: categories, tags, archives, popular posts, recent comments. Clicking 1 when it is allready active causes my browser to scroll down. I'm not sure that's intended.
- I go to "site updates" -> "do you like to have a screencast section" -> button: "wait there is something left" : click. On that page: Do you like to have a screencast section
. It is incredibly hard to see the button to go left and right on top, i think to the next and previous post.

Can't you get the local time with some client side code?
But i can understand that this will cause all times of the forum posts (and who knows which other times) will have to addapt to local and this might become a bit too much work for now :)

Oxano, in most cases there is not a simple method to find date and respect it on the server. As most sites are in (hosted or meant for) North America; GMT -7 or -8 is generally more chosen. That is why most forum softwares during reg. ask you to select what timezone you're in so post times are relevant to your timezone.

Well... long story short: the forum has only shine elements (top inputs, buttons, lots of gradiends etc). On the other hand the blog si more has more soft efects (light gradients, even single color backgrounds, heading don't have shadows.. etc). All i'm trying to say is that here are two different styles.

I really like labs/blog website. I like the theme as a whole. I thought the "jumping" little Rss, Twitter, and youtube buttons where a very nice touch :) It feels alittle cluttered, but over all it looks like a nice website ;)
My Personal Blog l Learning C++ l I'll be famous soon enough.
