I am somewhat inclined to go for the test seeing how it is only 50$; Has anyone gotten this certificate or the Google Analytics one and has any info as to how beneficial it really is?

Do you mean Adsense or Adwords certificate?
I just went through their Adwords training yesterday. The testing looks pretty easy, at least for the Fundamentals. Have you done all the training online?
What are you planning to do with the cert?

Yeah i meant to type Google Adwords/Analytics. Yeah I mean their training is fairly straight forward and I skimmed through it. I have a little experience in it so was wondering if i could have something official to back it up. A google certificate is nice for any programmer or web designer... So yeah no particular reason just want to have it for my CV just in case.
And if you take it, let me know how it is; is it some class room or on a computer? I'm not rushing it so just curious if anyone did it...

@ND: I'll let you know after I take it.. Generally, the certification is for people who run SEM (AdWords) campaigns... or work in that field.
Update: Took the Fundamental Exam yesterday at Google Certification Program. Beside my past experiences with SEM, I basically read through the material on Google AdWords Learning Center twice and went for it. The questions were generally straight-forward. However, I got stumped by some Video ads questions since I've never used Video ads before. In the end, I passed with 87% (80% to pass).
I will probably study more for the next exam (Search Advertising Advanced Exam) or at least try more of the AdWords features beforehand.
