Linux Distribution that screen resolution of 1280x1024?

Does anyboyd know of a linux distribution that can display in 1280x1024 reso? as i have linux installed but it`s pants,it`s the worst OS ever, i mean it can`t do jack.It can`t even display in 1280x1024.

Well, my Ubuntu laptop is at 1366x768, but that's the hardware limitation. It has a variety of others available.

Same with Mint (although it is really just a flavor of Ubuntu). What distro are you using?

Install the proper drivers of your model computer (be sure to set it up in xorg.conf or your GUI managers xorg conf), My barebones x11-intel setup supports up to 2200x1600.
