Sorry if this is considered reviving old thread, but is there someone found this "auto" hundreds backlinks useful? No offense with the OP, just want to know if this links really okay from SE view.

Google weighs addresses, and if the name is in the address, especially with "redirect=http..." it would easily be considered useless, and I am sure other SE's do not use those for ranking purposes.

@Alex: I didn't try it. So I don't know how it works. While perhaps it is useless, do you think there will be penalty/negative effect using this?

Oh, it is much different than you or I would have thought. It simply populates a list of web urls like this, "site.com/out/external.php?redirect=foobar.com", simply random government or high up websites that allow external redirects, populating your domain name as the redirecting external URL (instead of foobar.com)

Redirects in that manner mean nothing, they are not back links, they are simply HTTP redirects to your website. HTTP redirects are often used in phishing attempts regardless, so Google would take care in not indexing them.

i tried and the results were displayed in the page, results showed the website url and forward slash with the my website name , that is just redirection to my website, not the backlinks, backlinks are only received after placing some posts with your embedded url (as seen in blog posting) this seems to be useless :(
