Yesterday I mounted a projector on my ceiling and am currently in the process of getting a N64, nes, snes, and sega genisis hooked up to it. I currently have all the system though I need to acquire the cords.
I was wondering what you guys think are some good retro games I should add to my list of must haves.

I still play my all four of those! Prefer to, actually, although Wii looks nice.
NES: SMB 1-3, Zelda I-II, Mega Man 1-6 (6 is Japan only, I believe), the original FF games (I believe II was released in America under "Final Fantasy", and the original Final Fantasy never made it, then they made a FFIII for NES and FFIV was released as FFII in American markets), Metroid, all the Castlevanias, Battle Toads or Double Dragon, Ninja Gaidan series, Maniac Mansion, DuckTales, Dragon Warrior series...hrm...there are more.
SNES: Super Mario of course, Link to the Past (my fav), Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger, FFII (aka IV) and III (aka VI), Super Metroid, Contra III, Mega Man X series, Donkey Kong Country series (this was super fun), Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter series, Super Castlevania IV, Sim City, Pilotwings, Demon's Crest, Star Fox, Super Ghouls and Ghosts, much much more.
N64: (I had less games for the N64, and played it much less, but I these were always great) Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 (notice the lack of the first one in the SNES group), Ocarina of Time (never actually played, but I have to mention it because everyone else loved it), Perfect Dark, Wave Racer, Ogre Battle 64, Diddy Kong Racing (for nostalgia sake), Pilotwings 64
Genesis: all I ever played on this as a kid were the Sonic games (I-III and Knuckles), Jurassic Park, Aladdin, Lion King, and the Genesis versions of the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter series.
For the 100th issue of Nintendo Power they listed what they thought to be the top 100 Nintendo games of all time. You should work through that, and let me know if you need to get a copy.

I currently have sonic 3, and mortal kombat 3 for the genisis. I also have mario/duckhunt for the nes, and dragon warriors 2. I'm thinking of getting metal warriors for the snes cause it is amazing.

If you have a flat ceiling (not all bumpy) they you should point the projector at the ceiling, so you can lay down, looking up, to play :D
as far as games go, super smash Bros for n64 is great!
