Ive got a question for a few of you older contributors. (total forum time=age in this instance)
It seems to me that there are quite a few younger, newer, less experienced coders posting their questions here, and it also seems that many of these could of been Googled.
im far from being an advanced coder but id like to become a respectable contributor to the forum.
but i know at some point il need help.
are there other sections of the forum unseen by me as a new user on which more sophisticated difficult problems are discussed?
not to say i would be asking these questions but rather id like to read such posts. the tutorials are a great resource but dont do well for a casual quick read.
if such isn't currently available perhaps in the future a section could be made collecting the threads with good questions being answered.
Question for the oldies from a nub

The only "hidden" parts of the forum are those for moderators/administrators. You're right that many simple questions are asked here. Being the first site when you google "programming forum" is both a blessing and a curse, as many people who just want help with getting through their mandatory programming class in college come here to be "saved". It's particularly bad around finals time, when we get flooded with "I haven't done anything on this critical project for a month and just realized I'm screwed. Please save me, it's due tomorrow morning" type questions.
As long as you try to find answers, and ask intelligent questions, you'll do well. I should be starting to ask some of my own, soon, when I start trying to build some code in Java. I figure building a webserver in Java can't be all that hard, right?

il try my best not to ask dumb questions. and good luck on your java development! im months away from posting or even reading about java but when the time finally comes i will definitely look for your posts.
also, totally new to me to even hear of the possible existence of a java webserver. if it was a coder joke then it was over my head >.<

The only dumb questions are the ones you can type into google and get your answer on the first hit or two.
