I have been studying EER mapping , so far smaller examples are very clear to me but i am stuck on this one

i don't get how the author has solved this example cause it seems that the rules written are not being followed . Can anyone explain it to me , given below is it's solution
The problem is that when we think of a person in that example it is mentioned is overlapping and in that case we don't map the parent class instead we put its attributes in the child , though here's the solution if it's possible for someone to explain it to me please do :crying:
