Hey everyone,
Recently I set out to learn C#. I have some experience with PHP, and I took a Java class in high school. I get the basic concepts of object oriented programming, but my understanding of things like data types, scope/visibility, and good programming practices is lacking.
I have reached a point in my learning where I feel like I need to interact with people who actually know what they're doing. My main goal is to gain a strong understanding of the fundamentals of C# programming, and I am finding that books and tutorials only explain how to do things. As I practice writing code, the relationships between the objects is often difficult for me to grasp. Additionally, there are many features of the C# language that I have not yet read about.
I am looking forward to being a part of the community. I will attempt to contribute to the conversation as much as I can, although I don't really have anything to contribute yet. I am not very familiar with forum etiquette so if anyone has any advice on how to be appropriate, or links to threads specifying proper behavior I would appreciate it greatly. I will try not to annoy anyone :) .
Hi! I am new here.
