Hello, brand new programmer here. I've tried to search this forum for the answer to this question to no avail.

How would I write a piece of code that would automatically recognize a musical artist's name and provide links to their music on iTunes or eMusic similar to Hypem.com?

For instance:
1) I would upload a new Miley Cyrus song and would manually label the artist and the song name
2) The script would use that information to provide affiliate links for other Miley Cyrus songs on iTunes and eMusic.

I'm assuming this code is going to be pretty in depth so I'm not asking for someone to write it for me. However if you could point me in the right direction (I'm not even sure PHP is the right language for this!) it would be greatly appreciated--programming language, concepts, tutorials, anything.
