Okay

I know this depends on what country you come from, but I don't really have much idea on it so some guidance would be good

I want to know how I copyright a service/idea/website, such as Facebook, Imageshack, TinyURL, Digg ect

Any help/information is much appreciated.

You really need to talk with a lawyer, as it varies from country to country.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

Iv read on the Intellectual Property Office

All information that is written is automatically subject to the Copyright Law.

When finished I can then go on to Copyright the Design, Look & Feel of the system.

A patent on the code would cost around £80 also.
