I tried to register on your site but couldn't -- there is no Submit button on the window that asks for the user name etc.

Oh! I finally found it. It's sooooo small -- you need to make it much larger so that people don't have to hunt around for it.

Also, you will be getting a lot of spam if you don't set it up to require email confirmation for registration.

Nope -- I have no clue. Never set up a forum before or written anything other than a Hello World web page. But I'm sure you could get a lot of help here if you post your questions in the appropriate support forum. You can also post questions on Zataboards support forums.

I love the coloring (orange is my favorite color) but it needs a different banner / logo. The current one is terrible and design is a big part of running a site, no one wants to look at terible graphics if they don't have to. Also you should get some friends of yours to come in and make some threads and get some discussion going, no one wants to join an inactive forum. Maybe get some tutorials up and make a area for discussing anything and everything (like the lounge on here)

It is a little messy design wise but not too bad. The main thing is getting people to actually join your forum.

i agree on getting people to join. its a big task but its necessary.
you cant really just set up a forum and expect people to join without cause or reason to, a forum is driven by its users. without posters there isnt a point in running one. it sucks but the truth is you cant get members without having members >.<!

my advice is talk to your friends and make new ones, gather some interesting people that like forum posting and slowly develop a community.

Green, yellow, red and a black background. I'm not sure is the best combination. Lose the green and that ugly banner.. Try something shine... like the rest of your layout.
