Im sorry for a start if im posting in the wrong place ,i had a look but didnt know where to post a REQ ?

Im looking for some examples or source codes or Registry guards like Spybot S&D .
Any other Guards like phishing guards and attack guards for windows .

Kaspersky has alot of the guards id like to get the sources from or examples but i know im asking to much then lol .

Im making a project in VB6 using old guards to make a cool protection program .
Ive already got a good startup guard but there are a few more guards to get to make a worth wile program , webguard (phishing) and Registry guard are the most importand for me to obtain now so ive come to ask around the programmers sites for any good feedback or even if im lucky a few sources or examples.

again soz if ive posted in the wrong place for a REQ .
Ive found it very hard to find much about online but i bet im looking in the wrong places .
looking forward to any help and i hope you understand my post on what im after :)

Hay many thanks for the Winpooch project thats exactly what im after BUT in VB.Net or VB6 .

Im not sure why im having such trouble finding what i want in .Net or VB6 ????

Because you are talking about doing very low-level work, very close to the operating system. VB.NET was designed to keep you away from the OS, and VB6 wasn't a very good language for that type of work, due to general instability.

Ok yes i agree with your last statement , what im trying to do is find as many old or new vb.net .vb6 examples or source but your last statement might emplane the reason why i cant find much ?

im trying to start a good project by using all the good guards for windows to prevent Trojans and viruses getting on your OS.
The art is to prevent anything from getting in Not trying to scan and kill it once its on your pc because we all know the damage is already done by then .
So my project is to grab all the guards and put them all together like publishing, trojan,startup and registry and so on and so on ,but you get what i mean i hope .
Once i got all that and made it all into 1 shield , i think it would be a great program to replace all these crap anti-virus programs .

So again thanks for your info and any tips or source /examples would be great :)
