In the fall I planned on applying for an internship at the corporate offices of where I work. I currently work in the warehouse, and I asked my supervisor if he knew anyone at corporate that knew about the internships. He said he would try to help me out, but he wanted me to get him a current resume.
well.. as it stands right now I don't have anything relevant I could add to my resume other than the Fundamentals of Programming class I'll be finished with in 3 weeks, and a XHTML/CSS class. This summer I'll be taking advanced XHTML, and a client/server class. In the fall I'll be taking Java I, and Oracle PL/SQL. Someone told me that I could put those on the resume as future coursework, but to me that doesn't seem right.
Does anyone here have any advice? I was waiting till fall, when I could actually put some of those on my resume as relevant college courses I've taken, but my supervisor is hounding me for a resume now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Cody

Resumes straight out of college tend to be thin. It's expected for an internship. Do you have any major projects you can list?

I forgot about this thread!
Bit of an update.. I didn't try to get an internship for fall 2010. I didn't really have much that would make me beneficial to the company, and I personally didn't feel ready. As I sit right now I've taken:
Fundamentals of Programming
XHTML & CSS
Advanced XHTML & CSS
Intro to C# & the .net Framework
Java 1
and XML
I'm currently taking Java2, JavaScript, and a Database Design class. In the fall I'll be taking a DB class focused on either Transact SQL or Oracle.. haven't completely decided yet. I was planning on taking an AJAX class, but they offer it in Spring with a JavaScript and XML prereq.. and well, I'm taking JS now. So I missed out on that I guess since it isn't offered in the fall.d
I've got an updated resume focused around my coursework, and I'm to a point where once I'm finished with this semester I'll feel confident I'll be able to work as a programming intern. So, this summer I hope to land an internship somewhere.. preferably at the company I work for since it is paid.. and I've got a wife and kid. So, I can't just take any internship just to get experience.
Unfortunately, the supervisor that was going to get my resume to corporate and hopefully put in some sort of 'good word' left the company a few weeks ago. So, I'm on my own.
