About how much would it cost me to buy:
A few blue 5MM LED
A few red 5MM LED
And a few green 5MM LEDs?
Also I'm going to get the resistors and stuff later, after I find out how much I need for the LEDs
I don't want any packages or anything please.


The reason why:
I have started to work with hardware stuff, not necessaily computer hardware, but hardware in general modding.

So for my first project I'm going to take an Altoids tin, drill 3 holes on the shorter side close to the S and R in a circle and put LED lights in them, each connected to their own battery so I can make buttons for each one, and when you press the button for that color, the LED turns on.

Not much! Cheapo LEDs should be easy to find. This is your first project, and you don't need small flashlights, so find something cheap. You might need to buy a few, though, like 10 or 50. Depends on where you are going to buy it. For stuff like that you could also ask in any shop that does electronics/repairs and ask if they have some. If you're lucky you might even get some for free.
