Hi there,
I have an idea to have a new web based business. I did 3 yrs of programming course 9 yrs ago and have done nothing with it. I learned C++, Vb , Pascal, Assembly, a little Java, colbalt, Access.
First I need to make a good attractive website with many pages (5 to 10) and various logos
I need to get customer details on the web and store them in a database. Also to have emails sent automatically on reciept of customer details.
The customer can log in and view their details, account status, money owed to them etc.
What languages should I use for all this. Any advise would be gratefully recieved. I might even get the programming bug once again and become employable in this regard.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks so much. I'll look into those now on the web. I don't have any money to spend on software development tools so I'm hoping I don't have to pay for PHP and CSS. I never heard of these.
All the best:)
