Alright, so I threw some pieces together to get a computer running. Basically the computer had a motherboard and a processor. I added ram, monitor, hdd, and a cd-rom drive. All of the parts I checked and are working. When I plug the computer in the green light turns on indicating it has power, and the processor fan starts running but no signal is ever sent to the monitor.

If the processor is running that must mean the motherboard is working, but one of the other fans is not working. All the other parts I did test and are working (ram/cd/monitor/hdd). It's not beeping or anything but a yellow light appears a yellow light appears next to the power on button.

The motherboard and processor are listed on this site.

I'm not great when it comes to hardware, so any ideas are welcome! Thanks!

If It Is A Graphics Card That Connects To The Monitor Try A Different Graphics Card, If The Monitor Is Connected To The Motherboard Try Buying A Graphics Card For It, Because If There Is No Signal Going To The Monitor From The Motherboard This Does Not Neccessarily Mean That The Motherboard Is Faulty Just That The Onboard VGA Card On The Monitor Has Burnt Out/Died. Hope That Helps.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find one to test that with.
