Hello Guys and gals.
Iv been looking at getting into programing for a long time. iv bought a couple books but never started because i never knew were to start. deciding on a language is hard when you dont know much about them. i was hoping to get some help from the community. I am looking for a wide spread language that is able to interface with both software and hardware, such as polling information for the web/files and interacting with hardware such as a lcd screen. or creating a program to control another computers operation. from what iv read c# can do the things im looking at doing but before investing a lot of time in i want to make sure of it.
