Hi every1, iv studied business IT at uni, which didnt involve as much programming, but i can program a little in VB, however, i would like to learn php n mySql as i prefer to do website design, I have designed websites in HTML but not in php! I tried learning it but 1st of all, i wanna know what to install in order to make a website, even if its opensource,
what do i need to program using php? and my sql? somebody plz help! :D thanks

I recommend you to read this page: Simple PHP/MYSQL guide Made by Jaan. It explains how you can work with MySQL and PHP together. I Hope this will help u out! :-)

I used PHP Danabase topic from PHP tutorial. But it is really for beginners. Then you can continue learning at PHP and MySQL oficcial sites

I would say a good place to start is W3 schools. PHP Tutorial <-link and as the others said if you get stuck just make a thread on here and we will try to help you.
