I need a free web host that supports sql and php. I don't care about cpanel or anything, I just want a basic text editor, no fantistico or whatever. I have searched for about a week but I haven't found anything good yet.
DON'T POST 000HOST OR WHATEVER IT'S CALLED!!!!!!!!
It needs to be free, thanks.

It's not going to be easy finding a free web host that offers a decent service. Either way this will be the forum you'll need to check out:

Why do you need FREE web hosting service? I believe that it can be good only for testing websites.
You'd better pay some dollars for hosting if you are going to run small web site.

Most free web hosts impose advertising on your website. This is done to cover the costs of providing your site the free web space and associated services.

To become more web host–oriented read independent web hosting reviews that are known to be of high quality and the most up-to-date. They contain information regarding affordable web hosting firms.

I would better pay some dollars for reliability and speed than to see how web sites down with free web host.

Think that paid hosting will give you more opportunities... Choose a host who understands your specific needs, and who can sit down with you and talk about what your needs are, and how that host can accommodate for those needs.

Look for a minimum uptime of 99%. In fact, even 99% is actually too low - it really should be 99.5% or higher.
