i'm just playing around with .bat or shells scripting. and I was just curious if i could create a script that loads and allows user to enter any ip to ping.. ive found alot of scripts that have pings already listed in there program and it automatically shoots the ping out.. i need a .bat scrip that allows the user to enter in a certain ping.. is that possible?

Why would you use a .bat file for this instead of just typing ping?
